Vintage, tinsel & disco …what actual Christmas dreams are made of!
Our second annual Picker Santa Mini photos were our best yet! We picked up these old BNSF Railroad filing cabinets earlier in the year (in hopes of transforming them into bars, still a work in progress!) and knew they would be the perfect backdrop for our Santa area. Giving us a little old world nostalgia to build off of. If you’ve been around a while, you know our hearts are with vintage and we just HAD to incorporate our mid-century tinsel trees. Nothing better than a circa 1960’s funky vibe. To top if off, we saturated the trees with tinsel, because, duh. Why not?! Added the jolly man himself and our Santa area because the best neutral sparkly vibe.
The family area had to have a different feel than the Santa area and we were loving a good monochrome moment. All of the Christmas and holiday inspiration we see anymore is so lacking in color, so we went bold and went RED. Layers and layers of red! It was a total vibe. We added a little spice with the addition of fresh red garden roses in the trees, and of course, disco balls AND red tinsel. If these didn’t get you in the holiday spirit, nothing will!
These photo sessions are truly an expression of our creativity, but also our hearts and our clients. Watching families grow from year to year, adding babies and babies growing into children and the joy we see in their faces when meeting Santa is genuinely magical. We hope to see you all in 2023!
